After reading this account of the formation of the United States of America, I was amazed that our country came into existence at all. The men and women who gave of themselves and in the manor they gave, put me in awe. General Washington was brave and cautious. He had great victories and equally great defeats and disappointments. But what is clear to me after reading this book is that the hand of God Almighty was upon this new nation and He blessed it’s beginnings. Amazing read. Highly recommended.
